About Me
Last Updated: 06-Jul-10

I am a PHP web developer based in London with over 5 years of commercial experience. After university I used my fresh enthusiasm to teach myself the beginnings of programming, and managed to find my way into a startup company, NovaSecta, where I was tasked with not only handling all the Infrastructure, but also the Web Development for the company. After nearly 2 years there, I decided that I wanted to focus primarily on web development and that a larger company would be of best benefit to my career. I made the move to TMN plc, now Progressive Digital Media Group, where I have been honing and improving my skills as a software developer since.

Aside from my enthusiasm for web development and programming, I keep myself busy with a wide variety of activities and hobbies. I'm keen at dabbling in as many sports as I can, regularly playing squash, football and cricket, and also enjoy tennis, golf and sailing when the occasion presents itself. I've been a proud season ticket holder at Harlequins RFC, and can't think of a better sport (& team!) that I'd rather watch! On an annual basis I love skiing (& now snowboarding too!) in the winter months, and scuba diving in the summer. More recently I have become interested in the art of photography, and I've also joined the Territorial Army in which I am a member of the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) band. This gives me the chance to continue my passion for music at a high level in the oldest and most prestigious regiment in the British army.

On the portfolio page you can find a selection of some of the projects that I've built and worked on. The majority of sites I've entirely designed and developed myself.

You can also download my CV in various formats.
